YEAR 5- 2001
As usual, the Jaguars had a successful season, coming
back from their tough prior year. While initially their team did
not seem to be the strongest, their early acquisition of Dominick Rhodes
once the Edge went out, helped them mightily. In Week 11, they
moved into first place in their Division, only to lose it back to the
Dragon Slayers in Week 15. A win for the Jags in Week 17, allowed
them to move into first place in their Division, when the Pilchards beat
the Dragon Slayers in the final week of the season. The Jaguars
finished 3rd overall.
REGULAR SEASON RECORD: 10-7 |
YEAR 4- 2000
The Jaguars had a rough season
after being the 1999 Champion. They finished with the second worst
record overall. The Jaguars suffered several long losing streaks
including a 6 game losing streak as they embarked on a 1-9 mid-season
record.
REGULAR SEASON RECORD: 5-12 |
YEAR 3- 1999
The Jaguars capped off their
season by winning it all in their first Fantasy Bowl title.
Although the team started the season slowly, their free agent pickup of
Kurt Warner propelled them to a string of victories including the
playoffs. The Jaguars have been the best team in the DTFFL in its'
first three years. Jaguars pick last in the next draft since they
were the 1999 Champions.
REGULAR SEASON RECORD: 9-6-2 |
YEAR 2- 1998
The Jaguars won the National north Division in the final
week by beating the Semolina Pilchards. They finished as the
number one seed going into the Playoffs. The Jags finished the
season third overall.
REGULAR SEASON RECORD: 12-5 |
YEAR 1- 1997
The Jaguars, coached by Terry Daniels, had an
exceptional 1997 season. They finished the first half of
the season in second place (to the Sandbaggers) with a 5-3-1 record,
after achieving the league's first tie in Week #5 against the Dragon
Slayers. They finished the regular season with a 11-5-1
record, good enough for second place and the second seed in the
playoffs. Needless to say, they finished the playoffs as the
runner up in the Fantasy Bowl.
REGULAR SEASON RECORD: 11-5-1
