LIFETIME RECORD: 36-65-1
YEAR 6- 2002
C&D improved slightly over last year by winning two
more games, however it still wasn't enough. The made their record
more respectable by finishing with three straight wins. Their
downfall, as usual, was picking all players from the same usual teams,
Jets, Detroit, and Seattle. Some day they will probably learn to
diversify and until that day, they will be destined to miss the
playoffs. C&D ended up finishing 9th overall.
REGULAR SEASON RECORD: 7-10 |
YEAR 5- 2001
C&D made their usual start by losing their first three
games in 2001. This season they remained in last place in their
Division for the entire year, although it really wasn't their fault.
It seemed that week after week, C&D played teams having their yearly
high score. C&D again avoided having the number 1 pick in the
draft, but not by much, as they enter the 2002 campaign with the 2nd pick
overall.
REGULAR SEASON RECORD: 5-11-1 |
YEAR 4- 2000
While C&D improved to the tune of not having the first
draft pick for the third year in a row, they still had a weak enough season
that they missed the Playoffs for the third staight year. After
starting the season with a 7-4 record, they collapsed down the stretch,
ending the season with a six game losing streak.
REGULAR SEASON RECORD: 7-10 |
YEAR 3- 1999
Even though this team had the first
overall pick in the 1999 season, they couldn't parlay that into success.
The loss of Terrill Davis caused this team to spiral out of control early
and to ultimately finish with a 4-13 record when they ended the season
with a five game losing steak, which again earned them the #1 pick in the
next draft.
REGULAR SEASON RECORD: 4-13 |
YEAR 2- 1998
C&D started out like the prior year with a big losing
streak. Unfortunately for them, they never had a winning
streak. They were the first team eliminated from the Playoff race
and finished with the worst overall record of 3-14. However,
they do get to pick first next year (TD we'll assume).
REGULAR SEASON RECORD: 3-14 |
YEAR 1- 1997
C & D Touchdown Makers, coached by Dennis and Cher
Wilckens, seemed to be a team that was going nowhere, however, they
eventually changed their fortune around. After starting
the season 0-5, they then went on a winning streak to finish up halfway
through the 1997 season at 4-5. In the second half of the season,
they went 6-2, to finish the year at 10-7 and be seeded in the fifth
position in the playoffs. They finished the playoffs in
sixth place.
REGULAR SEASON RECORD: 10-7 |
