The Wiz (nickname from all the booze slamin') led the league in scoring over the season and won their Division in a Week #16 battle with the Sandbaggers.   They cruised through the Playoffs to finish first overall and win the Fantasy Bowl and coveted Trophy.

REGULAR SEASON RECORD:  11-5-1

YEAR 1- 1997

The Wiz Bang Gang, coached by Kevin Harvey and Art Valente, concluded the 1997 season finishing in ninth place and missing the playoffs.  After starting the season 0-3,  the Wiz went on a five game winning streak.  They stumbled through the second half of the season going 3-6, and finished with a respectable 8-9 record.  They concluded their season with the highest score in the league during the final week of the regular season.
